When Swami Krishnanand Paramhans came here in the year 1950, then there was a shortage of water in Solan. Due to the lack of water, the people here had to live in a lot of difficulties. It is believed that since then till today there was no problem of water shortage at this place. The people here believe that after bathing in the water of this water tank made of Trishul, the body becomes healthy. Devotees throng here on the day of Mahashivaratri. There is an influx of devotees especially during Mahashivratri and the month of Sawan. The situation is such that the devotees have to wait for hours to have darshan.
