For this reason, people prepare kheer and keep it in the moonlight throughout the night, so that after taking a bath in the morning and eating it as prasad, they can become healthy.

As per the astrologers, prepare kheer before the Sutak period of the eclipse begins. On this day, before the start of Sutak, add basil leaves to the kheer. You can keep this kheer in the moonlight before the lunar eclipse begins. But, keep in mind that before the eclipse starts, remove the Kheer from there.
