ISRO PLANS SPACE TOURISM BY 2030
From America
to China, Japan, and India are working fast in the direction of Space Tourism.
Senior officials of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) told that by
the year 2030, space travel can be done for which Rs 6 crore per person will
have to be spent.
Indian Space
Research Organization (ISRO) chief S. Somnath says that India is moving fast on
its own space tourism module. Space travel can be done by the year 2030. For
which Rs 6 crore per person will have to be spent. Anyway, not only scientists,
but the common man also wants to know about space. The mysteries of space have
always attracted him and he wants to step into space once. Many countries
around the world have progressed a lot in the direction of space tourism. But
now in India too, after seven years, passengers can step into space.
However,
Somnath has not yet clarified whether space tourism will be sub-orbital or
orbital. Usually, tourists spend about 15 minutes in the space. Private space
agencies Blue Origin, Virgin Galactic, and SpaceX have been working towards
space tourism for a long time.
The Union Minister of State for Science and
Technology, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh, said in a written
reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha in February that ISRO had developed a
feasibility study for India's sub-orbital space tourism.
Scientists told;
space tourism will be planned in collaboration with private companies. The
companies will partner with ISRO through the Indian National Space Promotion
and Authorization Center (IN-SPACE). The government has formed In-Space as an
agency to promote non-governmental organizations.
ISRO will
make people travel to space for six crore rupees. This decision has been taken
in the direction of promoting space tourism. For this, the year 2030 has been
targeted. ISRO Chairman S Somnath has given this information.
Somnath
said the government's space tourism initiative is gaining momentum. India will
fix ticket prices for space at 'competitive prices' in the global market. The
cost per ticket can be around Rs 6 crore. He said technical issues are being
discussed to make the journey safe.
Union
Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology, Atomic
Energy and Space Dr Jitendra Singh said in a written reply to a question in the
Rajya Sabha in February that ISRO has started conducting a feasibility study
for India's sub-orbital space tourism. Singh said that ISRO is engaged in the
development of various technologies in India's first human space flight program
through Gaganyaan.
People
traveling will be able to call themselves 'astronauts'. Explain that the
government had told in February that ISRO has started studying space
tourism. ISRO is engaged in the development of various technologies through
Gaganyaan, the country's first human space flight program. Through this,
there is a plan to send ordinary people to space.
