Scuba diving is at the top of the bucket list for those in love with the sea. Marine life has ever been so fascinating for us, to see the colourful fishes waddling, the beauty of coral reefs, it definitely is an experience of a lifetime. As most of you might think of trying it out at some other foreign country, but why go that far, when you can experience it better over here at the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. So, for the ones who love the feeling of adrenaline pumping through their blood, here is a list of an amazing adventure that awaits you.
Swaraj Island

Swaraj Island is the most popular island of this archipelago and also the prettiest one among them. It has a wide range of exotic marine life, nowhere else to be found. Imagine you can admire them all here! The Humpback Parrotfish, Lionfish, soft corals, the rare dugong and schools of other fishes. To reach here, there are ferries available from Port Blair. But do not forget to carry some sunscreen and lotions as these things aren't available here.
Shaheed Island
It is another picturesque island of the archipelago, beautiful and less crowded. So, for those who do not really like the crowd, this place is heaven. The island is relatively small but lined up with a number of unexplored beaches and excellent scuba diving spots. The coral reef and marine life here haven't yet been touched by mankind hence are still in their rawest forms. Here you can really appreciate nature's creativity at it's best.
Port Blair

The capital city of this archipelago and Union Territory is no less beautiful than the rest of the island. The Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park in Wanoor is a unique reserve built to protect the marine flora and fauna. If you go scuba diving here be ready to see the most beautiful sea flowers and 50 different varieties of corals, including some of the rare ones.
North Point, Cinque Island
Another beautiful island with the clearest waters in the world, it offers an unique once in the lifetime experience. With clarity up to 80 ft, it is one of the best spots for scuba diving. The diverse variety of corals and aquatic animals only add up to making your experience here better. the rare variety of black corals can also be easily spotted here.
Corruption Rocks

Between the Chidiyatappu and Rutland Island, is this beautiful dive spot. It is basically a 30 metre high rock, and an intermediate to strong current channels. This attracts a large variety of aquatic flora and fauna here and not to forget a large number of scuba diving enthusiasts. The Corruption Rock also has a number of canyons, ridges and channels making it most unique among all the other islands here. You can get here on a ferry from Port Blair. It is the most unique experience.
