March, because the weather of Rishikesh in winter is very good.

The nearest airport to Rishikesh is
Jollygrant in Dehradun, from where the distance of Rishikesh is about 21 km.
From Dehradun airport, you can go to Rishikesh by bus or taxi.
HOW TO REACH RISHIKESH BY TRAIN
Rishikesh also has a railway station,
but Rishikesh railway station is very small, so you can take the train to Haridwar
Railway Station, which is about 26 kilometers from Rishikesh. You will easily
get the facility of both bus and taxi to reach Rishikesh from Haridwar.

For Rishikesh, you will get a direct bus
from various cities of Uttarakhand, apart from this, Uttarakhand Roadways bus
also runs from Delhi to Rishikesh.
