The beach is considered to be the favorite place of tourists and whenever the name of the beach comes in India, the name of Goa comes first. But have you ever thought that without any seashore, you get to see the beach and that too in a religious city, where you have been many times? All of you must have heard the name of Rishikesh but have you thought that sometimes in a city like Rishikesh you can enjoy the beach. Yes, there are many beautiful beaches in Rishikesh, which give you a Goan feel even in this religious city. Tourists coming here definitely come to visit these beaches. So come, let’s explore beaches and mountains in one place.

1. GANGA BEACH

Rishikesh's Ganga Beach is surrounded by greenery. In such a situation, if you are a nature lover, then you can come here and spend time with your loved ones. Drenched in natural beauty, this place is very special, where you can also opt for amazing pre-wedding shoots.

2. NEEM BEACH

Rishikesh is famous for its river rafting, whose endpoint is known as 'Neem Beach'. The atmosphere here is very good in the morning and tourists are also seen at this time. If you have also come to visit Rishikesh's valleys or are planning to visit, then you can go for a walk on Neem Beach.

3. KAUDIYALA BEACH

Kaudiyala is a small village situated at a distance of 40 km from Rishikesh, from where the rafting zone stretching till Shivpuri is considered very special for adventure lovers. Situated on the banks of the continuous stream of the river Ganges, this beach looks very beautiful. Many tourists come here for river rafting and camping.

4. SHIVPURI BEACH

Shivpuri Beach of Rishikesh is very famous among tourists. The mesmerizing view of the calm blue water here is soothing to the eyes. It is one of the most spectacular sights in the city. As beautiful as this beach looks, it is equally relaxing.

5. GOA BEACH

Rishikesh's 'Goa Beach' with white sand is a famous picnic spot, where a huge crowd of tourists is seen. You can see many tourists here enjoying the sun. On coming here, you will feel exactly like what you get in Goa. The cool winds of the mountains add to the beauty of this place, if you are also going on a journey here with your partner or friends, then you can visit here.

Rishikesh is situated at the foothills of the Himalayas in Uttarakhand, along the convergence of the Ganges and Chandrabhaga rivers. It is famous for its adventure activities, ancient temples, popular cafes, and whatnot. However, the best part is that it is also known as the Yoga Capital of the World. Over time, it has become a good mix of urban and natural tourist attractions. If we go back a bit in time, we can see that Rishikesh has seen significant growth in every possible way.

BEST TIME TO VISIT RISHIKESH

You can go in any month of the year on a Rishikesh trip and visit all these places. If you are planning to go to Rishikesh to enjoy river rafting as well as other adventure activities, then you can go on a Rishikesh trip in summer i.e., March to June, and enjoy adventure activities there, but if you are not fond of adventure activities, then you can go on Rishikesh trip during the winter season i.e., from October to February or March, because the weather of Rishikesh in winter is very good.

HOW TO REACH RISHIKESH BY FLIGHT

The nearest airport to Rishikesh is Jollygrant in Dehradun, from where the distance of Rishikesh is about 21 km. From Dehradun airport, you can go to Rishikesh by bus or taxi.

HOW TO REACH RISHIKESH BY TRAIN

Rishikesh also has a railway station, but Rishikesh railway station is very small, so you can take the train to Haridwar Railway Station, which is about 26 kilometers from Rishikesh. You will easily get the facility of both bus and taxi to reach Rishikesh from Haridwar.

HOW TO REACH RISHIKESH BY BUS

For Rishikesh, you will get a direct bus from various cities of Uttarakhand, apart from this, Uttarakhand Roadways bus also runs from Delhi to Rishikesh.
