The construction of this church started in 1594 and was completed in 1605. It contains the remains of St. Francis Xavier which attracts a huge number of tourists from all over the globe.

The church of Holy Sepulchre is also known as the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre is the most popular pilgrimage place for Christians. The church is believed to be the site where Jesus was crucified. This church was built by the 1st generation of Christians in the world and it is one of the key attractions in Jerusalem. The site was closed to the public for two months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the first such closure since 1349, during the Black Death.
