It definitely has earned a spot high up in the list of the safest tourist destination for solo travellers both male and female. Thimphu, the capital of the Land of  the Thunder Dragon, is counted as the best tourist place and also the safest of the safest. With several places to see around the city one can definitely say it is a place of rich culture with a hint of modernisation. There are a lot of spots around the city that scream tourist destination, like the Clock Tower Square, the Motithang Takin Preserve, Tango and Chari Monastaries, Buddha Dordenma, National Memorial Churtan, to name a few. The women who have visited this heaven, claim that the only thing you need to be safe from are wild dogs.

4. Tokyo

In a survey conducted by The Economist Intelligence, Tokyo was ranked number one, in the Safe City Index, 2019. If you are an Otaku lady, and want to visit the land of your favourite anime, this must be great news for you. Feeling safe and secure, you can travel around the city to buy the merchandise of your favourite anime. But that is not all, Tokyo is a hub for shopping, entertainment, exquisite food, intriguing museums, historic temples and gardens. And you can always visit the Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Disneyland and a number of other amusement parks around the city.
