These places which were once palaces have been converted into hotels. So today let us tell you about such hotels in India which have become excellent wedding destinations.

1. UMAID BHAWAN PALACE, JODHPUR

Located in the vicinity of the Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur is the Umaid Bhawan Palace, a part of which is managed by the Taj Group of Hotels. Located on the high point of Chittar Hill, Jodhpur, the palace has 347 rooms and is the main residence of the former royal family of Jodhpur. Built between 1928 and 1943, the palace complex is situated over an area of 26 acres of land. The principal architecture of the palace is a blend of Indo-Saracenic, Classical Revival, and Western Art Deco styles.

2. TAJ FALAKNUMA PALACE, HYDERABAD

Taj Falaknuma Palace Hyderabad which was built in 1894 as the residence of the Nizam. The hotel offers a glimpse of the luxurious lifestyle of the Nizams and historical attractions spread over 32 acres of land. With construction spanning over four centuries, the palace consists of several smaller palaces within the complex. The interiors reflect the Rajput heritage, where you can see miniature paintings, silver, glass, and marble work as well as a monument with stained glass.

5. SAMODE PALACE, JAIPUR

On the outskirts of Samod village, nestled in the Aravalli Mountain range, just north of Jaipur, is Samod Palace. Built-in sandstone, the 475-year-old structure is an amalgamation of Mughal and Rajasthani architectural styles and was converted into the exquisite palace that it is today under the rule of nobleman Rawal Barisal, who served as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan in the 19th century. 6. TAJ LAKE PALACE, UDAIPUR
