When it comes to India, most people admire the diversity of cultures here. Every state has its own language, dresses, culture, lifestyle, tradition and also their own majestic history, they're proud of. But is that all? No, every state even has its own different food and snacks, and their different ways of preparing a dish. So here is a list of breakfasts of certain states that would make your mouth water and tempt you to go there and try them out. 

Khura, Arunachal Pradesh

Khura is a buckwheat pancake, eaten as a common breakfast you will find in Arunachal Pradesh. In a state where non-vegetarian dishes are predominant, this dish is a rare vegetarian delicacy enjoyed here as a common snack and breakfast. It is very similar to a pancake, sweet and spongy, just the base ingredients is different. So, if you like pancakes and are going to visit Arunachal Pradesh, do try a khura. 

Pithaguri, Assam

Pithaguri or Pitha is among the common breakfasts eaten here in Assam. It falls in the same list as Bora saul, Kumol saul and Sira doi. It is a traditional Assamese dish. Pitha is prepared with rice and flour, stuffed with jaggery and coconut. A must-try dish when you are in Assam. 

Sheer Chai, Jammu and Kashmir

Sheer chai or Noon chai is a very popular variety of tea had in the breakfast with a fresh bread-like dish, called Baquerkhani made by local bakers here. It has an unique taste and colour owing to the sodas added to it. Imagine drinking this flavoursome, heartwarming tea on a shikara boat with your heartthrob in Jammu and Kashmir. 

Eromba, Manipur

Eromba is a quite popular dish in Manipur that the locals enjoy as breakfast. It is an ethnic cuisine of the Meitei community of the state. It is prepared with boiled vegetables, chillies, dry fish, fish paste and water. It is prepared in various ways but the best one is said to be the Yongchak eromba. So do try this soup in Manipur. 

Bai, Mizoram

Bai is among the famous breakfasts, it is a non-vegetarian dish cooked preparing with steaming vegetables, pork, spinach and bamboo shoot. It can also be prepared with simply vegetables and butter as a vegetarian alternative. Try this warming dish to beat the winters in Mizoram.
