You also need some micronutrients to stay healthy. These small seeds provide the same nutrients to your body. So, who can be a better friend than them?

With a balanced and nutritious diet, you can make your body healthy and fit. By including fruits and seeds in the diet, you get enough nutrition, due to which you are less likely to get the disease. Omega 3 fatty acids, protein, calcium, magnesium, fiber, and antioxidants are found in the seeds. This helps in detoxing the body. Also, it helps to control blood sugar and BP. The risk of bone problems is higher in women, but if women include seeds in their diet, then they are less likely to have bone problems. 1. SUNFLOWER SEEDS

Sunflower seeds are rich in antioxidants, which are very important for you. Also, they are a storehouse of healthy fat, magnesium, and vitamin E. If your skin does not glow naturally, then you must include sunflower seeds in your diet.

2. SESAME SEEDS

We all have eaten sesame laddoos in winter. Sesame is not only used to keep the body warm; it is a storehouse of nutrients. Sesame contains zinc in sufficient quantity, which we do not get from any other diet. Also, it boosts immunity and keeps you energetic throughout the day. Sesame is also beneficial for diabetic patients. Just take care of its quantity. Eating sesame seeds once a week is sufficient.

3. HEMP SEEDS

Hemp seed is one of the best vegan sources of protein. Being a storehouse of protein, hemp seeds are most commonly used in muscle gain. Along with this, hemp seeds provide energy, increase immunity, help in reducing weight, and control appetite. Hemp seeds contain all the essential fatty acids that are effective in preventing PMS. It also cures insomnia. That's why hemp seeds should be a part of your diet.

4. PUMPKIN SEEDS

Along with protein, potassium, and magnesium, one of the most important nutrients in pumpkin seeds is vitamin K. Vitamin K is found in very few foods and its deficiency leads to weak bones. Vitamin K itself helps the bones to absorb calcium, which makes the bones strong. Arthritis patients must definitely eat pumpkin seeds.

5. BASIL SEEDS

Sabja seeds, also known as falooda seeds, are very nutritious. They contain alpha-linolenic acid which increases metabolism and reduces weight. Also, it contains flavonoids like vicenin, orientin, and beta-carotene which increase immunity. Eating vegetable seeds keeps cold and fever at bay. Soak one spoonful of seeds in a glass of water and eat it in the morning. It reduces weight, increases immunity, and is beneficial for overall health.

6. CHIA SEEDS

Chia seeds are high in fiber, which improves your digestion and can help prevent constipation. Chia seeds also contain omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for brain health. Apart from this, the calcium present in these seeds strengthens the bones of women.

7. FLAX SEEDS

Flax seed is a good source of dietary fiber and omega-3 fatty acids, including alpha-linolenic acid. Flaxseeds also contain phytoestrogens called lignans, which are similar to the hormone estrogen. Today flaxseed is available in the form of seed, oil, powder, tablets, capsules, and flour. People use it as a dietary supplement to prevent constipation, diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease, cancer, and many other conditions.
