ARUNACHAL PRADESH: LAND OF THE DAWN-LIT-MOUNTAINS
The state of
Arunachal Pradesh is a major state in Northeast India. Arunachal Pradesh, which
means ‘Land of the Dawn-lit-Mountains’, has long been a recognized region of

part of the country, bordered by the state of Bhutan to the west, the Tibet

Tani people in the center, the Tai people in the east, and the Naga people in
the south of the state.

fish, meat, and vegetables. The dishes use very little spice, and they mostly
use herbs and organic produce. Different varieties of momos and thukpa are popular
and widespread in the region. Steamed rice cakes are also widely enjoyed as a
breakfast in Arunachal Pradesh. Apart from this, Chinese cuisine is also in
vogue here and occupies a special place in the cuisine of Arunachal Pradesh.
Apart from these, there is a rice beer called Apang which is quite famous here.

(North Lakhimpur) Tezpur Airport in the state of Assam is the nearest airport
to Arunachal Pradesh, which is 260 km (approx 4 hours drive) and connected to
