People often think about Rajasthan that this state is ideal to visit in the winter season. In summer, people prefer to visit the hill stations of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. But do you know that there are hill stations in Rajasthan too, where you can enjoy your summer vacation completely. Let us talk about those hill stations of Rajasthan, where you can go in summers also.

1. GURU SHIKHAR HILL STATION

If you want to spend some time alone or with family and friends in peace away from the crowd, then there can be no better hill station than this. Guru Shikhar is also known as Guru Choti Hill Station. This place has been named after Dattatreya. This hill station is very close to Mount Abu. You can also enjoy trekking here. If Guru Shikhar comes, then definitely visit the Dattatreya temple.

How to reach - Guru Shikhar is at a distance of 15 km from Mount Abu. Taxis are easily available from Mount Abu to here. 

2. MOUNT ABU

This hill station is also known as Mussoorie of Rajasthan. This city with lush green hills and lakes can be the best place to visit in summer. View of Aravalli Mountain from Mount Abu city and boating in Nakki Lake will add charm to your holiday. The Dilwara Temple of Mount Abu will definitely make your heart drool with its beautiful carvings.

How to reach - Mount Abu is directly connected to the capital Delhi by road. Many buses ply from Delhi to Mount Abu. Apart from this, you can also come to Mount Abu by private hired vehicles. The nearest railway station to Mount Abu is Abu Road. Taxis will be available from here till Mount Abu. The nearest airport to Mount Abu is Udaipur Airport, at a distance of 175 km. Bus, taxi, and train facilities are available from Udaipur to Mount Abu.

3. RANAKPUR AND KUMBHALGARH

Ranakpur is a village in the most peaceful and cold places of Rajasthan. This hill station is surrounded by lush green forests. Your weekend will definitely be pleasant in Ranakpur village away from the cities. Apart from this, you can also visit Kumbhalgarh Fort. You will love the jungle safari in the wildlife sanctuary of Kumbhalgarh.

How to reach - Ranakpur is well connected to Udaipur by road and rail. Regular buses ply from Udaipur's main bus stand to Ranakpur. Udaipur is also the nearest airport to Ranakpur. Kumbhalgarh is connected to major cities of the country by road. Udaipur is the nearest airport to Kumbhalgarh. The nearest railway station to Kumbhalgarh is both Falna and Udaipur. After getting down at the station, you will easily get taxis and e-rickshaws.

4. ACHALGARH HILL STATION

Achalgarh hill station, situated at a distance of about 11 km from Mount Abu, is surrounded by the Aravalli Mountains. From the top of Achalgarh surrounded by greenery, you will get a beautiful view of Mount Abu city. In Achalgarh, you must visit Achalgarh Fort and Achaleshwar Temple. You will feel peace in both places.

5. SAJJANGARH

The Sajjangarh Palace situated on the hill of Rajasthan is known for its beauty not only in Rajasthan but all over the country. In the hot summer, you can go on vacation in this palace. There are many lakes here where you can enjoy boating. This palace was built by Sajjan Singh. But after his sudden demise, the work was stopped. After this Maharana Fateh Singh started it again. After about 10 years this palace was completed. From this palace, you can see sunset and sunrise in Udaipur.

How to reach - Sajjangarh Palace is well connected to Udaipur by road and rail. Regular buses ply from Udaipur's main bus stand to Sajjangarh Palace.
