are also associated with Bhedaghat. In one such folk tale, it is said that sage
Bhrigu used to have an ashram in Bhedaghat. In the Bundeli language, Bheda means to
fight. There is a confluence of the Narmada and Ganga rivers at Bhedaghat. Hence
the place got its name.

Dhuandhar Falls, boating between the Marble Mountains, and the Chausath Yogini
Temple. Let us explore the key exploration places of Bhedaghat.
DHUANDHAR FALLS
Dhuandhar
Falls is the center of tourist attraction here. This is a beautiful waterfall
that originates from the Narmada River. Here the Narmada River falls from a height
of about 30 meters. Watching the river falling from such a height feels like fog
all over the place. For this reason, this place is called Dhuandhar. When the
rays of the sun fall on these streams, the sight itself fascinates your mind.
It is a great place for a picnic with family and friends.
MARBLE ROCKS
Marble rocks
about a hundred feet high stand on both banks of the Narmada River. As soon
as the rays of the sun fall on these stones, the sight becomes so beautiful
that it seems as if time stops there. You can also enjoy boating in the Narmada
River between the Marble Rocks.
CHAUSATH YOGINI TEMPLE
This is the
historical temple of Jabalpur. There are idols of 64 attendants of Maa Durga in
this temple, hence it is known as Chausath Yogini Temple. Situated on a
mountain above the river Narmada, this temple has an idol of Lord Shiva among
the idols of the Goddess. Tourists come to Bhedaghat just to visit this
temple.
BALANCING ROCKS
Here, you will
get to see large circular stone rocks which were not created by humans but were themselves formed thousands of years ago by volcanic eruptions. They
have maintained their balance in such a way that an earthquake or any other
calamity cannot affect them. That's why these rocks are called Balancing Rocks.
