1. KUDREMUKH NATIONAL PARK

Kudremukh National Park is a popular park situated amidst the mountains located in Chikamagaluru district, in Karnataka, which is known for its natural beauty. This national park is spread over an area of 600 square kilometers and was made a national park in 1987. This national park is also home to many endangered species of plants and animals, apart from many wild animals like tigers, leopards, and wild dogs.

2. MAHATMA GANDHI MARINE NATIONAL PARK

Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park is situated at a distance of 25 km from Andaman and Nicobar capital Blair. This wildlife sanctuary is also known as Wandoor National Park. This national park is a group of 12 islands that are geologically like a labyrinth that is home to some of the best marine wildlife in the world. The Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park was established on 24 May 1983 under the Wildlife Protection Act 1972.

3. KEIBUL LAMJAO NATIONAL PARK

Keibul Lamjao National Park, the only floating national park in the world, is located in the northeast of the Indian state of Manipur and is a major part of the Loktak Lake. The Keibul Lamjao National Park is spread over an area of 40 square kilometers and was declared a national reserve in 1977.

4. BALPAKRAM NATIONAL PARK

Located near the Garo Hills in the state of Meghalaya in India, Balphakaram National Park is located about 3,000 feet above sea level and is known for its pristine beauty. The Government of Meghalaya created the Balpakram National Park on 15 February 1986 for the conservation of important species and their mythological associations. Innumerable species of fauna and flora are found in this national park, some of the rare species of fauna include lesser panda, Indian bison, and stag-like serav.

5. BETLA NATIONAL PARK

Betla National Park is spread over the hilly terrain of the attractive Palamu district to the west of Ranchi. One of the most popular parks in North India, Betla is spread over an area of 979 sq km, of which 232 sq km is the main area. Wild elephants roam freely in the forests of the park. Although there are fewer tigers in this park, other animals like bison, elephant, tiger, leopard, etc. are found in the park.

6. MADHAV NATIONAL PARK

Spread over an area of 157 sq km in Shivpuri district, is the Madhav National Park. Madhav National Park, located in the Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh, is spread over an area of 57 sq km. The national park is known for some exquisite species like the lesser chinkara, Indian gazelle, chital, nilgai, sambar, chausingha, and blackbuck. The site of this park was once a famous hunting ground for the royal family of Gwalior and the British.

7. NAMDAPHA NATIONAL PARK

Namdapha National Park is the best for any wildlife lover. This national park is the third largest national park in the country spread over 1,985 square kilometers. Namdapha National Park is a marvel of nature situated in the state of Arunachal Pradesh which extends from 200 meters to 4500 meters in height. This national park is home to the country's most biodiverse array of rare and endangered animal and plant species.

8. VANSDA NATIONAL PARK

Vansda National Park Saputara is located in the Navsari district of Gujarat, which is spread over an area of about 24 square kilometers. This National Park got its name Vansda because this park was under the private ownership of the Maharaja of Vansda, since then not a single tree has been cut in this park. The park is home to hundreds of different and unique varieties of flora and fauna.
