maintain their cleanliness and sanctity, as well as cooperate in maintaining the
sovereignty and integrity of India. In every region of India, in every state,

pilgrimage places of India through our article.
1. GOLDEN TEMPLE
The Golden Temple of Amritsar also known as
Harmandir Sahib is among the renowned
religious pilgrimage sites in India was built by Sri Ramdas Sahib, the fourth
Guru of the Sikhs. The Golden Temple
is considered one of the most important Sikh pilgrimage sites in India. This
holy tourist place is studded with gold and has many historical events in itself.
The Golden Temple of Amritsar attracts tourists from all over the world. The
founder of the Sikh Empire of India (1799–1849), Maharaja Ranjit Singh had the
upper floor of the gurdwara plated with 750 kg of pure gold.
2. JAMA MASJID
Jama
Masjid, located in the capital of the country, was built by the Mughal emperor Shah
Jahan in 1644 it is the largest mosque in India. Tourists come from far and
wide to see this mosque in Delhi. It is also called Masjid-e-Jahanuma, which means the
mosque with the vision of victory over the world. It is considered one of the
most famous Islamic sites in the country. According to the beliefs, every wish
of a person is fulfilled in this mosque. About 25,000 people can gather in this
mosque at the time of prayer and religious event.
3. CHRIST CHURCH
The historic Christ Church situated on the ridge grounds of Hills Queen Shimla is called the crown of the capital. It is the second oldest church in northern India, whose beauty still captivates people. Built during British rule, this church remains the pride of Shimla even today. This church is visible like a tiara from a kilometer away. Christ Church was designed by Colonel JT Boylio in 1844. Its construction was started after about 13 years in 1857. Constructed in the year 1857 in Neo-Gothic art, this church was built for the Anglican British community, which was then called Simla. The huge loss on it was donated by Colonel Dumbleton in 1860. The porch on the church was added in 1873. After this, even though its clock could not run, this church has managed to maintain its identity for decades.
4. RAMESHWARAM
This
temple is located at a place called Ramanathapuram in Tamil Nadu state of South
India. Ramanathapuram is a famous island situated between the Indian Ocean and
the Bay of Bengal. Apart from being a Jyotirlinga, Rameshwaram is also one of
the holiest Char Dhams of Hindus. Rameshwaram Temple is a very famous temple
due to its magnificent architecture and beautiful architecture. In the sanctum
sanctorum of this temple, there are two Shiva Lingas, the first linga which was
made by Lord Sri Rama himself and is known as Ramalingam. Hanuman brought
the second linga from Kailash and installed it here, which is known as
Vishwalingam.
