Add Chia Seeds to Water or Food.

Chia seeds have hydrophilic properties, which means that they absorb waters up to 12 times their weight in water. These seeds help you stay hydrated longer. So, before going out pack a bag of Chia seeds in your bad and add it to water, when your travelling by the day in summers.
Avoid Sugary Drinks

Caffeine and sugar act as diuretics. They speed up the process of diuresis (formation of urine) making your body lose a large amount of water quickly. This can increase your thirst and lead to dehydration. These drinks might quench your thirst initially but bring down the level of water in your body.
Drink Cocunut Water

Coconut water is considered an excellent replacement of water and also has its own added benefits. It contains natural electrolytes and potassium levels comparable to a banana. This keeps you hydrated and nourished for longer. So you can also carry a bottle of coconut water with you.
Eat Fruits with High Water Content

Nutritionists recommend eating water-rich fruits like pineapple, berries, cucumber and watermelon to keep yourself hydrated. Though when you are travelling avoid fruits like berries and cucumbers as they are thin-skinned and can make you feel sick. Pineapples, bananas and avocados are a safer option and have a high potassium content to keep you hydrated longer.
