Adventure sports is an uprising trend in India, However, it is gaining popularity really fast among the youth. Nowaday it has become easy to spot rafting in the itinerary of most tour operators. It is not anew if we are told that this spot has gained quick popularity not just among the andventure freaks but also among tourists and travellers. With a plethora of roaring rivers, there are a number of places in India one can try out rafting. 

Indus River, Ladakh

Indus is listed among the the longest rivbers in Asia. The people who want to or have visited Ladakh talk about the rafting here with a sparkle in their eyes. The best time to go on a rafting trip here is between July and September. As in this time span, the water level in the Indus is massive making it the best place in India. 

Barapole River, Coorg

The Barapole river in Coorg, particularly the upper region offers a thrilling opportunity for white water rafting. In the upper section, the river has some 4 to 5 rapids. However, the lowest section of the river has about 6 to 7 rapids. Monsoon is the best season for trying out the sport an definitely offers the best experience of river rafting in the southern part of India. 

Beas River, Kullu

Kullu is a popular vacation destination in India for white water rafting. You can sail on the beautiful River Beas and enjoy your love for thrill and adventure.
