Hudson Valley

Manhattan is the most crowded destination when it comes to travelling in summer but we recommend you to skip Manhattan this June and travel to the Hudson Valley. Why we are saying so is because the Great Hudson River Festival (music festival) is celebrated in mid-June. The valley feels like an idealistic place dotted with farm stands, antique stores and apple orchards with a good mix of destination dining, spas, yoga studios and not to forget wineries. Apart from this, there are a lot of places for the art lover to quench their thirst. 

Rwanda

The gorilla tracking in the bamboo forest of Rwanda is magnificent. It is one of the most known activities in the East African nation. The nation houses varied ecosystems and abundance of wildlife which is why it offers adventure activities such as camping, trekking, hiking, kayaking and more. All these activities are best in June as the temperature, it is heaven for foodies as well. The local cuisine is just yum and you will surely enjoy it. Not only that, but it is also a heaven for trekkers, as you can trek to Mount Bioske which is an extinct volcano with a crater lake at the top. 

Cappadocia

The whimsical fairy chimneys and peculiar formation of rocks make it a place you won't believe belongs to our planet. The cave dwellings, underground cities and a fantasy landscape might seem to be a perfect picture but come summer and the place will become magical when wildflower start to bloom. The place surely is crowded during this time but you can surely beat the crowd and hot air balloons by opting for hiking horses. This will take you to places most people can't reach.

Ningaloo Reef

We know there is nothing like The Great Barrier Reef but Western Australia's Ningaloo reef gives a tough competition to it. And if we talk about June, it is even more pleasant and is the best place for you to swim with the Whale Sharks. There is no need to worry as you don't need a cage to get close to these gentle giants. Get enchanted by the baby turtles and also find all the endangered species of turtles. Coral Resort Bakery in the tiny town of Coral Bay serves a wide variety of Australian delicacies out of the Aussie pie is a must-try. 

Copenhagen

The small colourful town is where you should be heading for this summer. The town is the epitome of Scandi cool as you can find Danes whizz around on colourful bikes, drink craft beer outside and sip coffee by the sea. The bridges here buzz with cycling commuters, modernist lamps light up the new Nordic tables and eye-candy locals dive into the pristine water. Eating is the favourite pastime of locals here so if you come here Come Curious, Come Hungry.
