Sikkim bans use of Plastic Water Bottles by Tourists

It is being said to be the first town to ban packaged drinking water bottles. The town is flooded with tourists every year, as they come here to admire this little town, for its serene beauty, picturesque views and snow-capped peaks. And as the tourist leave, they leave behind tons of packaged plastic water bottles. As tourism grows so does the waste.
