Still, the recent visit to the enthralling destination by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has fueled the fire. More people, previously unaware of the mesmerizing views of this destination are wishing to replicate a few of those viral shots of the Prime Minister.

The archipelago consists of a group of 36 islands with only 10 being inhabited. And even if not all 36 of these mysterious islands welcome tourists, the ones that are explorable are enough to make your journey full of fun and adventure. We have filtered out some of the top destinations in the region that will leave you captivated with their indefinable beauty.

Why Visit Lakshadweep

Though the Prime Minister’s amazing snapshots are enough to convince almost anyone to visit the archipelago, if you need a little more convincing, the views that you will see here will forever be imprinted in your mind and surely will never be seen before. The weather on the islands is just as rainy as it is sunny. The sunsets here are enchanting and if you wake up early enough to catch the sunrise then you’d be one of the few lucky ones to have seen the most beautiful scenery ever.

One of the highest points of the trip to Lakshadweep is the variety of water sports available for tourists. Even if you have tried activities such as scuba diving, the views of the ocean that you will get to see here will be unique. The lagoons here are lined with coral reefs that are just as captivating as the underwater life.

If you are looking for a peaceful time at the beach, soaking in the sun, and resting after the tiring mundane 9 to 5s, then Lakshadweep is your go-to destination. There are a few spots on these islands that are not as crowded and have just as beautiful views as the popular beaches and spots. With unmatched beauty and unlimited thrill, Lakshadweep is also a more pocket-friendly destination.
