Black Pepper Popcorn

Popcorn comes in handy when you’re going on a road trip. Even the driver can enjoy some of it without any fuss even while driving. A homemade pack of popcorn is way better than the stale ones you find at gas stations. Plus you can add your own flavour to it with a little bit of cheese, virgin oil and black pepper.
Green Chutney Sandwich

An easy to prepare, spicy snack, green chutney sandwich is way healthier than any snack you would find on the streets. If you usually develop a craving for something spicy, then this is the snack for you. All you need is slices of bread and some freshly mixed chutney. Apply a layer of chutney on the buttered bread and pack it in an airtight container, it will stay fresh for up to 3 hours.
Wheat Flakes Nut Mix
Those roadside namkeen packets look very tempting and delicious, but they might not be healthy. To settle your cravings for those here is a homemade replacement. Take a handful of almonds, pistachio, walnuts, peanuts, roasted grams and any other nut of your choice. Put them in a bowl. Mix some lemon juice, cornflakes and olive/mustard oil. Your own packet of tasty and healthy namkeen is ready.
Bread Dhokla

It is a quick fix snack with long enough shelf-life. To make this dish you need bread crumbs and rava. To add a twist of flavours you can use ginger and green chillies. This can be eaten along with green chutney. Ensure you keep it an airtight container.
Banana Chips

You can find banana chips available everywhere you go, but they have added preservatives to increase their shelf life and you cannot really trust them.
