The Bay of Fundy is known for shifting and continuously changing shape with the help of external forces and in resonance to the cliffs that were formed due to the high tides on Earth. It, like a resonating poem, tells us the untold story of our beautiful planet.
As this place is so closely related to Earth's history, this place is full of fossils of historic significance. It is home to the legendary Kluscap and steeped in his legend. A variety of fauna has made home here throughout history, from early vertebrates to seabirds and sea lions. Only recently a 310 million years old fossil was discovered here by a visitor at the Joggins Fossil Cliffs. Maybe you might discover something unique too. The Mi'kmaq were the first geologists here, selecting rocks for their tools and ceremonial use.
