This airline will give you a yellow card for taking off your mask
In football, if a player breaks the rules of the game, he is given a yellow card. Following the same trend, Alaska Airlines hands over passengers a hand written warning on the card for not wearing a mask. In the times where wearing a mask when you step out is very essential, this step by the airlines will ensure the safety of the passengers and the crew. The airlines said that the idea behind this method is to lighten up the mood of the passengers amid all the stress and anxiety they might go through while on board.
The airline has laid down certain strict rules
The airline has laid down certain strict rules to prevent the spread of the coronavirus within the aircraft. Since May 9, the airlines has been religiously following social distancing and has made it mandatory for all passengers to wear masks. The middle seats of all aircraft have been blocked from booking. The airline also offers masks to the passengers who forget to bring their own.
According to the rules, the passengers can only take off their masks to eat or drink, sitting in their seats. All passengers must sign an health agreement during the boarding process and they must follow all the rules while onboard.
The exception to the yellow card rule
The exception to the yellow card rule are children below 2 years of age, people with breathing problems or lung related issues, people with disabilities and anyone who requires assistance in putting on the mask.
